Frank Pasenello (right) learned to sail on the Finger Lakes as a young adult and honed his sailing skills on Lake Ontario. Now after 25 years of active sailing, Frank says his only regret is that he didn't take up sailing earlier. Frank holds a United States Coast Guard Captain's License and is recognized by the American Sailing Association (ASA) as a certified advanced sailing instructor. Frank was a lead adult instructor at the Chesapeake Sailing School in Annapolis, Maryland, where he taught all ages of children & adults on boats from 14'-44'. Frank has several years of offshore sailing experience, including passages to the Bahamas, Virgin Islands and New England. Frank loves sailing and sharing the joy, challenge and excitement of sailing with others. Frank and his wife, Mary Pat, are the founders & owners of Crayon Campus in Pittsford, NY.

All instructors are certified by the American Sailing Association (ASA) to teach sailing. They are skilled, enthusiastic and look forward to teaching and sharing the pleasures and rewards of sailing. Our Charter Captains are experienced sailors and hold a current Captain's License issued by the US Coast Guard.

] OUR FLEET ]

Courses are taught on keelboat vessels ranging from 26-28 feet. Sun Fish instruction upon request. Private instruction may be arranged on your vessel, with a half day as the minimum instruction time.
